Custom Home Portrait - original hand-painted watercolor

Each custom home portrait is one of a kind, hand-painted with artist grade watercolors on 140lb cold-pressed archival paper. With years of fine art training and 400+ commissions completed, my portraits are perfect for commemorating a beloved former home or celebrating a new one! The fine print:

• This purchase is good for a watercolor of one building from a reference photo or listing link I will collect from you (occasionally Google Maps street view can even work in a pinch!)
• The price includes one round of minor revisions to the painting, such as the addition of a detail or darkening of an area. Keep in mind that due to their transparent nature, watercolors cannot be worked into subtractively and the changes I can make are quite limited.
• Completion time = 3 weeks for 5x7", 6 weeks for 8x10". Completion = I send you a photo for your approval. Once approved, local pickup in downtown Raleigh is available immediately; or I will ship domestically for free.

The best photos for my style are crisp and vibrant, with interesting cast shadows (ie shadows from tree branches or architectural elements showing on the lawn or roof).

Rights

I may use the work in my portfolio (including, but not limited to, social media and any website that displays my works). You may publish images, as long as I am credited (full name, Instagram handle, OR website listed). I retain copyright ownership and reproduction rights to the artwork. For paintings of your private property, you may reproduce for personal use only (not for resale).

Unless otherwise specified in writing, I retain sole reproduction rights for paintings of public spaces or commercial/landmark buildings. If you would like to license the image or use it for commercial purposes, we can make that happen for an additional fee - just ask. I can also add a pet or address to the image for an additional fee.
