Custom Oil Portrait – original hand-painted fine art

Each custom oil portrait is one of a kind, hand-painted with artist grade oils and meticulous attention to detail. With years of fine art training and 400+ commissions completed, my portraits are perfect for commemorating a beloved pet or family member, or marking a moment in time. The fine print:

• This purchase is good for one single-figure oil portrait from a reference photo I will collect from you.
• The price includes one round of minor revisions to the painting, such as the addition of a detail.
• Completion time = 3 weeks for 5x7", 6 weeks for 8x8 and 8x10". Completion = I send you a photo for your approval. Once approved, local pickup in downtown Raleigh is available immediately; or I will ship domestically for free after an additional 2 weeks drying time.

The best photos for my style are crisp and vibrant close-ups, with an interesting play of light and shadow.

Rights

I may use the work in my portfolio (including, but not limited to, social media and any website that displays my works). You may publish images, as long as I am credited (full name, Instagram handle, OR website listed). I retain copyright ownership and reproduction rights to the artwork. For paintings of your private property or family members, you may reproduce for personal use only (not for resale).

Unless otherwise specified in writing, I retain sole reproduction rights for paintings of public figures. If you would like to license the image or use it for commercial purposes, we can make that happen for an additional fee - just ask.
